It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I've dug up something interesting to share.

4th grade comics. Like, some of the first comics I ever drew in my not so long yet LIIIIIFE. I mean, this was seven years ago. When I was maybe 4 feet tall. Some of the content is really embarassing. There are more than 3, but I'd probably go die under a rock if anyone every saw them. o3o;

Cat and Mouse, otherwise known as Tom and Jerry copy comics. Insane.

Tail Cave Boss. For those who remember Gameboy Colors. Link's Awakening DX was my first GBC game, along with Pokemon Red. It spurred some spontaneous hilarity (kind of). <__<;;

Zelda Mask. Oookay. This one was from watching my friend play Ocarina of Time on N64, back when they hadn't moved. I never had an N64.... But that's okay, they're kind of obselete now (console antique ommgggg) and you can get OoT on Wii downloads or something. Or you can play the Collector's Edition Zelda disc for gamecube. Which I have. Woot.

Yeah okay. Fast forward to present day.

Forget it, they still look funny.

Anyways, that's pretty much all. It's March 1st, meaning it's time to seriously crack down on studying for those AP tests. I only have 4 this year, but it's still a challenge. Like... Calc. The bane of my existence is calc. Also SATs in June. I'll be plenty busy for the rest of the schoolyear so update frequency on DA which drop worse than it already is.

And that's all. Brawl comes out in 8 days. But I have no Wii so I shouldn't be waiting with anticipation.

I'm starved. I'm going to make myself a grilled cheese.
